Aiyaa it sounds like… a bad artblock! Mmm firstly, I get all the negativity out somehow, so I can focus! punching your pillow is good but be careful you don’t hit the floor by accident!
ehem, anyways, at times like these, I think it’s best to not spend any more time on the drawing, and just step away for a moment! (Usually when I try to fix things when it’s not working, I get really frustrated with myself, and it only gets worse…) Go do something that will help you get into a better mood (like a shower, walk, watch tv, etc.) and then when you think you can give it a try again, come back to the drawing! It sometimes you can pick out mistakes you couldn’t see before. Another way would be to start the picture all over again! I don’t think many people might agree with this…but when I just can’t get something right, I just scrap everything and try all over again. It’s just like.. hmm.. dying in a dungeon so you get a game over, but still gaining exp so you can go back to beat the dungeon? by starting over, I think you can work even more efficiently, rather than fretting about it not working out..! These are usually what I end up doing, so it might not work for some people…
Bottom line is, take your time and stay positive! Time is the best counselor in most cases, and artblocks and frustrations will surely pas if you think positively and work hard!
Good luck, anon! I’m sorry if I couldn’t help you much;;;
